April 3rd is National Chocolate Mousse Day! Once a French restaurant staple, mousse became popular in America in the 1960s. This light and fluffy dessert can be flavored with everything from vanilla to chocolate.
The oldest American reference for chocolate mousse dates back to 1892, when it was served at a food exposition at Madison Square Garden.
